If desired, the heater can be recessed into the bench construction, freeing up more space on the bench. For recessing, you only need to purchase the optional recess collar. The installation of a soapstone heater in the sauna is also simplified by the fact that the heater is mounted directly against the wall, eliminating the need for a safety distance behind the heater. Furthermore, all the weight of a soapstone heater rests on its feet, meaning the wall does not need to be reinforced for the heater installation. Consequently, soapstone heaters are suitable for saunas of various shapes and sizes.
