Genuine experiences of the warmth and quality of Mondex sauna heaters.
The renovation of the wet rooms at Ilona Pietiläinen’s post-war house began from a wish to open up the space. The old sauna was renewed down to the structure, and the surfaces were replaced with luxurious marble, stone tile and glass. As the centerpiece of the sauna, Ilona chose the black Mondex Tahko E2 WiFi heater.
For the Ylivieska-based Finnish baseball team PesäKuula, a love for the sport and a strong sense of community are at the heart of everything they do. This summer, those qualities are also reflected in a unique fundraising campaign centered around a home-made sauna equipped with a Mondex Klapi wood-burning heater. In this collaboration, local roots and a hands-on attitude take center stage.
In the house of the sporty Hautamäki family, the sauna is heated several times a week. All members from the parents to the children enjoy an active and athletic life, and the sauna is an essential part of recovery and relaxation, but also an important way to spend time together.
The sauna is an important part of the Puulate family’s everyday life and an almost daily ritual that helps them unwind and leave the day’s rush behind. During their sauna renovation, they wanted to find a heater whose design would perfectly complement the overall look of the sauna.
The main goal of the renovation carried out in Emilia Rotko’s family’s semi-detached home was to make the wet areas more practical: the family wanted more space as well as more durable and safer material choices. At the same time, it was decided to replace the sauna heater with a new one.
Between 2022 and 2024, the Bonaguro family fulfilled a long-held dream by building a home that truly reflects their vision—a unique combination of modern elegance and warm practicality.
