The Mondex E2 electronic controller makes heating the sauna easy
The electronic controller included with the sauna heater makes operation simple and convenient, allowing you to switch the heater on and adjust the temperature with ease. The controller can be installed wherever it best fits your home and sauna layout; inside the sauna, in the washroom, dressing room, or even in a standard wall switch box. The Mondex E2 electronic controller features a digital display that shows the sauna temperature, eliminating the need to climb onto the benches to check a thermometer. Using the controller, you can either start heating the sauna immediately (maximum operating time 6 hours) or schedule it to begin heating at any time within the next 24 hours. Monitoring the temperature is easy via the controller’s display, giving you peace of mind that when it’s time to step into the sauna and relax, the temperature will be just right.
Additional benefits of a sauna heater with an electronic controller include greater flexibility in sauna design. The heater can be installed either as a free-standing unit or integrated into the sauna benches, giving you more freedom when planning the layout of your sauna. For example, if you would like the bench structure to begin immediately at the sauna entrance, this is easily achievable with a heater operated via an electronic controller. An embedding flange is available separately as an accessory for seamless bench integration.
The Mondex E2 sauna heaters come standard with a stylish black electronic controller. A white version of the controller is also available for those who prefer a lighter aesthetic. As standard, E2 heaters are supplied with a 10-metre control cable. For added flexibility, an extended 20-meter control cable is available, making the system suitable for larger saunas and washroom areas while providing even greater freedom when choosing the controller’s installation location.

With Mondex E2 WiFi heaters, the familiar features of the E2 control system are enhanced with modern WiFi connectivity. With the WiFi app, you can control your heater using a smartphone, tablet, or computer and start heating your sauna whenever it suits you best. Switch the heater on after work, while travelling to your cottage, or even during a workout, and you have a sauna ready and waiting for you when you arrive!
The app lets you monitor the sauna temperature, adjust the target temperature, modify timers, and check the remaining heating time. It also notifies you when the sauna is approaching the desired temperature, making it easy to fit sauna sessions into your daily routine.
The app also provides useful information about your heater usage. You can monitor energy consumption, review usage statistics, and get reminders when it is time to inspect or replace the sauna stones. This helps keep your heater in excellent condition and ensures enjoyable sauna sessions year after year.
Safety has also been carefully considered. The door sensor included with the heater ensures that the sauna can be heated remotely in a safe way. If the sauna door is opened after standby mode has been activated, heating will not start until the sauna has been checked again.
